If u love sumthin truely, set it free. If it comes back to you... it was always yours.. if it does not.. It never was..

Well Well Well... This is the most common sayin Ive heard ppl say ven tey argue bout freedom in relations n stuff like dat. But seldom ppl realize dat though the proverb is really a true depiction of the confidence u mite have on ur luv for that thing/person... it surely does not consider at all the most evil force dat comes into play during dat period.... "Time".. and mayb worse... A realization that it was not sumthin u really wanted after all!!

There was this person I knew who loved his cat dearly... and as cats generally r the "not so loyal" kinds, it often used to venture out n not return for days on end... everytime I asked him bout his cat, he used 2 giv me funda's based on the above proverb. And (being a dog lover myself) everytime I used 2 smile n say... mayb tis time u got urself a dog..

Once, as usual the cat dissappeared into oblivion. D only difference being dat it did not return for an unusually long time. Now my dear owner was pretty worried n waited.. for weeks.. He also launched a mini search party 2 find if Nebody knew where his cat was!! Finally, fearing the worst, he gave up his search... Days vent by ven he wud still keep milk by D door just in case his cat returned.. get extra fish n let it stink n rot in the cats bowl... n finally it dawned upon him dat his cat was never gonna return... So D nxt day he went into the pet shop n brought himself a nice puppy...

Now things changed in his house... areas designated as "Access only for sheeba" (his cat) now changed to "Access only for ceaser" (his dog). Fish got replaced by Bones.. There was no more "Milk" bowls.. and long evenings wud go by in minutes ven he sat playin vit his dog... As much as he luved purring vit sheeba.. he now enjoyed rolling vit ceaser!! And just ven things seemed 2 have settled down... ter she was by the door... sheeba had returned... Her story was a genuine 1 in which she had given birth 2 4 kittens... n so was nurturing them for almost 2 months... But D fact was dat my dear friend was now "Used to" her NOT being there!! Besides he now had a dog which was surely not very compatible vit cats!!

So he did wot he shud hav dun (though with a deep remorse in his heart)... gave sheeba away 2 the pet shop so that she might find another owner!!

And I have watched him closely... Frankly.. I never believed dat he missed her (Xcept for the first few days)..

So if ever u think of letting sum1 walk away... or givin sumthin away just coz u Xpect dat person/thing to return back to you... think 2wice.. For u mite just end up realizing dat der ver other options out there u had never tried!!

"True Love" is only good in fairy tales.. for many men have burned and charred in agonising suspense only 2 see their loved one cast a cold stare when they walk away with another man ;)

well thats not the point .we are talking abt true love that comes back and not goes away.

if we weren't misguided so by our kindly heart where would the fun be?
or in other words - if the cat had not left, the dog would not be as much fun - capeesh?

Well, to set the record straight, this post is NOT to do with love. It is to do with TIME and its ability to make a person adapt to something missing which later just becomes so much a part of that persons life that what he/she desired initially has lost its place in that persons list of priority items ! The guy still loved Sheeba, but just did not have a place for her anymore around him !

Vry true.. the saying sounds gud 2 hear but doesnt work in real life.. though it seems working in my life at dis vry moment.. u never knw whn it'll be gone..
