As a kid, it is not uncommon to have a morning schedule written in stone for the weekdays.

• Mum wakes you up at 0600 Hrs
• You brush your teeth and be at the breakfast table at 0610 Hrs
• Mum readies the table with breakfast. Help yourself and eat up by 0630 Hrs
• Mum keeps the water for heating which is ready by 0645 Hrs ... Take a bath
• Mum makes up the bed and tidies the sheets
• Mum then keeps a neatly pressed uniform on the bed. Wear it by 0700 Hrs
• Mum packs your school bag with the books for that days study. Pick your bag and walk to the kitchen.
• Mum has packed a good scrumptious tiffin and kept it on the kitchen table. Pick it up and stuff it in your school bag.
• Run to the door. Give mum a hug n a kiss (if you are still young enough). Trudge along to the school bus stop.
• Reach school and attend the morning prayer at 0750 Hrs
• Start the boring days studies at 0800 Hrs

Now here is my present morning schedule:

• Wife wakes you up at 0600 Hrs
• You brush your teeth and be at the breakfast table at 0610 Hrs
• Wife readies the table with breakfast. Help yourself and eat up by 0630 Hrs
• Wife turns on the water heater in the morning. ... Take a bath
• Wife makes up the bed and tidies the sheets
• Wife selects a set of clothes (pressed) and lays it on the bed. Wear it by 0700 Hrs
• Wife packs your office bag with your laptop and essential diaries. Pick your bag and walk to the kitchen.
• Wife has packed a good scrumptious tiffin and kept it on the kitchen table. Pick it up and stuff it in your bag.
• Run to the door. Give wife a hug n a kiss (and maybe a smooch). Trudge along to the bus stop.
• Reach office, perform the morning prayer by wishing all bosses around
• Start the boring days work

Hmmmm I wonder why they say..... boys never grow up ;-)
